Nvidia and Foxconn Partner on $1.4B Taiwan AI Data Center
Nvidia and Foxconn are building Asia's first Blackwell GB300-powered supercomputing facility in Taiwan, slated for completion by mid-2026. The $1.4 billion project will become the island's largest GPU cluster, with Foxconn manufacturing 1,000 AI racks weekly under its new Visionbay.ai unit.
The partnership advances Nvidia's GPU-as-a-Service model, shifting focus from hardware sales to compute leasing. Foxconn's expanded production capacity underscores the growing demand for AI infrastructure in manufacturing and industrial applications.
